Design designed the layout and graphics for the Graphical User Interface (GUI)
of Droplet Measurement’s Photoacoustic Extinctiometer (PAX). PAX is a
sensitive, high-resolution, fast-response instrument for measuring aerosol
optical properties relevant for climate change and carbon particle sensing
precision scientific equipment. Samson Design analyzed the way technicians used this instrument and the findings indicated that the user needed a clean interface with a simple navigation architecture and an ability to represent critical information clearly on this 7" touchscreen display.
